The midfielder has been keen to return to his former club and talks have been ongoing between all parties over the last few weeks.
Gueye has already agreed on contractual terms with Everton and has been waiting for the two clubs to negotiate the deal.
The midfielder asked PSG to let him return to Everton on a free transfer, but the French champions are not interested in such a deal.
And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, negotiations have completely stopped between Everton, PSG and Gueye’s camp.
Everton and PSG have struggled to agree on a deal and that has stalled the negotiations for the time being.
The Toffees are no longer in talks and the midfielder’s future is now in limbo as PSG do want to move him on.
There is still hope that the negotiations could resume as PSG get desperate to shift him towards the end of the window.
But for the moment, Everton have moved away from the talks to sign their former midfielder.
