The Magpies have added three new players on a permanent basis to their ranks this summer and are still on the lookout for further reinforcements with forwards being a priority.
In terms of outgoings, Newcastle have so far managed to shift out Jeff Hendricks, Ciaran Clark and Isaac Hayden on initial loan deals, while Freddie Woodman and Dwight Gayle left on a permanent basis.
The futures of Martin Dubravka, Matty Longstaff and fringe players in the likes of Matt Ritchie, Federico Fernandez and Jamal Lewis remain under the scanner but Howe has insisted that Newcastle will only look at more potential player exits towards the end of the window.
Howe added that there are no imminent outgoings and his side are fully focused on taking on Manchester City on Sunday in the Premier League.
“I’d be reluctant to look into outgoings at this moment in time”, Howe told a press conference.
“Maybe in the last few days of the window we may turn our attention if there are players we feel aren’t going to get the minutes they want.
“As we sit here now, preparing for Man City, there is no news.”
Bruno Guimaraes is another Newcastle player linked with an exit with Real Madrid touted to be his admirers but Howe has made it clear that the Brazilian is not for sale.
