Reguilon is deemed surplus to requirements at Tottenham by boss Antonio Conte and the club are looking to find him a new home this summer, at least on a temporary basis.
The full-back has drawn admiring glances from clubs both from the Premier League and abroad and is expected to move on before the window slams shut on Thursday.
Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest along with Fulham are linked with interest in Reguilon, while Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Serie A heavyweights Lazio are also keen on him.
Biancocelesti boss Maurizio Sarri is a firm admirer of the defender and wants him in his ranks this summer but they are facing significant competition from Atletico Madrid, who have already in talks with Tottenham.
And according to Italian outlet Lalaziosiamonoi.it, the Italian’s chances of landing the Tottenham man are getting slim as the Madrid giants are currently leading the chase for him.
Atletico Madrid are better off financially than Lazio which gives them the edge quest to land Reguilon’s services, while the Spaniards are also offering him Champions League football.
Lazio are yet to bow out of the race for the Spurs man but as it stands, he is looking more likely to return to his homeland.
