The 17-year-old striker has been attracting the prying eyes of scouts across Europe for his performances with Crystal Palace Under-18s.

He has scored seven times in five appearances in the Under-18 Premier League and several clubs are interested in snaring him away from Selhurst Park.

Everton have been monitoring his progress at Palace and Dortmund are already planning to make a move for him.

But according to German daily Bild, a move in the winter window is not expected to happen at the moment.

Dixon wants to spend the season at Crystal Palace but there is a real chance of leaving the south London club in the next summer transfer window.

Dortmund have a track record of developing players and English talents such as Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham made it big at the Westfalenstadion.

Everton are also hopeful of making their presence felt and emerging as a viable option if Dixon decides to leave Crystal Palace next summer.

The Eagles are keen to hold on to the young talent and could offer him a new contract to continue at Selhurst Park.
