Trossard has fallen out with Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi and did not feature for the Seagulls in their win over Liverpool at the weekend.
Spurs want Trossard and have had a verbal offer rejected, while an unnamed European outfit have seen a proposal knocked back.
Brighton though will not be pushed into letting Trossard go for less than their valuation, despite his issues with De Zerbi.
While he is out of contract in the summer, Brighton can extend his deal for a further year.
Trossard left the UK to return to his native Belgium when it was clear he would not be involved against Liverpool and it is unclear if he has returned.
If the attacker has stayed away it could put further pressure on Brighton to sell him.
At present though the Seagulls remain clear in their view that Trossard will not go this month unless their valuation of him is met.
