Saint-Maximin is no longer a certain starter at Newcastle and has made just four Premier League appearances in the starting eleven this season.

There is speculation about his long-term future at Newcastle but the club are insistent the Frenchman is not for sale.

His situation is being closely monitored by several clubs, who are interested in getting their hands on the winger, though.

And according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, AC Milan have their eyes on trying to sign the Newcastle winger.

The club’s technical team have identified Saint-Maximin as a potential target and are considering an attempt to take him to Italy.

But it is unclear whether they will consider moving for him this month or wait until next summer.

Newcastle are not considering selling the wide-man, but that could change if they receive a good offer for him.

Saint-Maximin has more than three years left on his contract and it could take a big offer to convince Newcastle to move him on any time soon.
