Harrison started the season brightly at Leeds but was the target of criticism as the campaign went by for his displays.
The 26-year-old also only has a contract until the summer of next year at Leeds and his exit from Elland Road was considered a possibility.
Leicester are interested in the Leeds winger, with the Foxes themselves poised to lose Ayoze Perez to Real Betis.
However, the chances of Harrison going to Leicester on deadline day are receding fast and a move appears unlikely.
Harrison himself is not convinced of the project of Leicester and is thus not willing currently to entertain the notion of moving to them.
The attacker is claimed to want to sign a new contract with Leeds and he does not appear to be leaving the Whites just yet.
The door is not entirely closed for the move to happen but as things stand Leeds are in line to keep hold of the winger for the rest of the season.
