King played in the last eight matches of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership before the World Cup break but has lately found himself out of the team.
The 19-year-old has not made a single Premiership appearance post-the World Cup break and finds himself down the pecking order at centre-back.
As such, there has been interest in taking the centre-back on loan as he is struggling for game-time at Ibrox.
However, Rangers have knocked back bids for a loan move for King and he will be staying on in Glasgow for the rest of the season.
Teams from both England and Scotland have enquired about King but Rangers remain firm on their stance of not letting him leave.
King will be hoping that he has more opportunities in the second half of the season now that his place at Ibrox has been confirmed for the remainder of the campaign.
The young defender has made a total of 19 appearances this season for Rangers but has yet to take to the pitch under Michael Beale.
