Harry Souttar is on the verge of completing a move to Leicester from Stoke for a deal worth £20m, inclusive of add-ons.

And Stoke are pushing to bring in defensive reinforcements in the final hours of the transfer window.

They have already been linked with a move for Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell who has impressed on loan at Millwall.

And it has been claimed that the Potters are now trying to work out a deal to sign Manchester United centre-back Tuanzebe.

The 25-year-old centre-back has not played a minute of football this season and only recently returned to training after recovering from an injury.

Manchester United are open to offers for him on deadline day as he is not a big part of Erik ten Hag’s plans.

Stoke are now in talks with the Red Devils to investigate whether a late swoop for Tuanzebe can be worked out.

It is unclear whether Stoke are exploring a loan or a permanent deal for the 25-year-old centre-back.
