Edouard has five goals and two assists this season, but has not had a goal contribution in the Premier League since October.
Crystal Palace themselves have been going through a dry patch as they have not won this year in the Premier League and have collected just three points.
Edouard revealed that the season has not been going according to plan for him and insists that for it to get back on track he needs to increase his goals and provide more assists.
“Not like I want”, Edouard said to Sky Sports when asked how his season is going.
“I need to score more goals, to give more assists.
“Sometimes it is hard but I need to keep working and try to help the team.”
The Palace striker thinks that he needs to just score one goal for the floodgates to open and stressed that the only thing he can do is keep working towards that objective.
“I think I just need to score one goal, that’s it”, Edouard added.
“But just keep working, that’s it.”
Crystal Palace are seven points above the drop zone and Edouard will be hoping he helps his team with goals and assists to steer clear of any relegation anxieties.
