Firpo began the season with a knee injury and after recovering, he established himself as a regular in Leeds starting line-up.
The 26-year-old left-back made 19 league appearances for Leeds this season but failed to prevent their relegation.
Leeds have a contract with Firpo that ends at the end of June 2025, but it has been claimed that the player wants to try new experience.
Following the Whites’ relegation to the Championship, several European clubs are eyeing a move for the left-back.
And it has been suggested that Firpo might draw the curtains on his Leeds chapter in the summer.
The left-back was brought in by ex-director of football Victor Orta in the summer of 2021 from Spanish giants Barcelona.
And it remains to be seen whether Leeds will want to try to convince Firpo to stay at Elland Road in order to help them get back in the Premier League.
