And Michael Beale has identified Cremonese centre-forward Dessers as the perfect fit for his squad.
Dessers joined Cremonese last summer and has a contract with the club until June 2027.
Rangers are confident of completing the deal with Cremonese, but they have to dig deep in their pockets for Dessers’ signature.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, Rangers might have to pay the Serie B club in the region of €4.2m up front and €1m in added bonuses.
If all goes well then Dessers is set to become the fourth summer signing for Rangers.
