The 27-year-old wing-back joined Inter Milan in the summer of 2021 from Dutch outfit PSV.

And last season Dumfries displayed excellent performances to help Nerazzurri to win the Copa Italiana and finished as runners-up in the Champions League.

The player has drawn attention from several Premier League clubs this summer, including Everton who want a full-back in the ongoing window.

Everton boss Sean Dyche is looking to strengthen his squad and believes that Dumfries will be a good addition to his squad.

However, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the idea of joining Everton in the summer has not intrigued the Dutch international due to Dyche’s side not being involved in European competition next season.

Dumfries has two more years left in his contract and there are other clubs who have their eyes on the Dutch wing-back.

Now it remains to be seen whether Everton will be able to convince Dumfries to join them in the summer.
