The full-back enjoyed a successful loan spell at Middlesbrough in the recently-concluded season and the club are looking to bring him back.

They are not the only side keen on Giles as Leicester City, back again in the Championship, have been linked with a possible swoop.

Newly-appointed Foxes boss Enzo Maresca is looking to add proven Championship quality to the squad and Giles has emerged as possible top target.

Despite Championship interest in the left-back, Wolves are claimed to be unlikely to make up their mind about Giles before their South Korea pre-season tour.

It is unclear how much game time Giles will get at Molineux with Rayan Ait-Nouri and Hugo Bueno’s presence at the club.

Julen Lopetegui is willing to give the left-back a chance during the pre-season tour as he registered 12 assists for Michael Carrick’s team in 48 appearances.

Giles is likely to want to play regular football next season, while his sale could also bring in much needed cash for Wolves.
