Manchester United reached an agreement over a fee with Chelsea last week for Mount’s proposed move to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have agreed to pay a fee of £55m to Chelsea for the England international as part of the agreement.
Chelsea will also be due another £5m in add-ons if the midfielder wins multiple major trophies at Old Trafford after joining Manchester United.
And it has been claimed that he is already at Carrington today for his medical with Manchester United.
The Red Devils will put him through his paces before the formalities of the transfer are completed.
Manchester United are expected to make an announcement about Mount’s arrival later this week.
Chelsea agreed to sell him after Mount made it clear that he was not interested in signing a new contract with the club.
Erik ten Hag has been keen on signing the midfielder since he was at Ajax and the England star has been his priority target this summer.
