Muani has been heavily linked with a move away from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer with clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester United believed to be interested in him.

The forward has still not made up his mind and Eintracht Frankfurt are still hopeful that they can hold on to him for one more season.

However, the German club have already gone to work to seek a potential replacement for the Frenchman this summer.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe (print edition), they are considering signing Montpellier’s Wahi as a replacement for Muani.

The 20-year-old striker caught the eye of several clubs last season when he scored 19 times in 33 Ligue 1 appearances.

He has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with Tottenham claimed to be keen, while Newcastle recently began to track him.

The forward is also believed to be on the radar of other clubs such as Aston Villa and West Ham this summer.

Eintracht Frankfurt are looking at him as a potential solution if they end up selling Muani in the ongoing transfer window.
