Mitrovic’s future has come under the scanner due to serious interest from Saudi Arabia where Al Hilal want to sign him.

The Saudi Arabian side are on the verge of signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio and are keen to sign his Serbia team-mate Mitrovic.

It emerged earlier on Wednesday that the Saudi club tabled a bid worth £25.5m in their pursuit of the striker.

But it has been claimed that Fulham wasted little time in knocking back the offer from Al Hilal for the forward.

Marco Silva is not planning to sell the forward this summer and the west London club are insistent that Mitrovic is not for sale.

The Serbian is a massive player up front for Fulham and their bad form late last season coincided with the striker’s absence from the team due to a lengthy suspension.

Fulham are certain that they do not want to move him on but it remains to be seen whether Al Hilal table a new bid.
