The Hatters are actively looking to add two new goalkeeping faces to their squad after stand-out custodian Ethan Horvath returned to Nottingham Forest upon the expiration of his loan deal.
The Premier League new boys were claimed to have tried to bring West Brom goalkeeper Alex Palmer to Kenilworth Road earlier in the transfer window but any potential deal stalled.
Rob Edwards’ side were also hot on Tom Heaton’s trail but Manchester United’s reluctance to part ways with the goalkeeper has prompted the Hatters to reignite their interest in Kaminski.
The 30-year-old Belgian is valued at £5m by the Riversiders but Luton are seeking to strike a deal with the Championship side for as little as £2.5m.
And now it is said that the Premier League new boys’ push for Kaminski is set to pay off, with talks between two clubs for the goalkeeper likely to reach a conclusion.
The Hatters are hoping to maintain their Premier League status next season and have already wrapped up deals for some key players, including Ryan Giles.
Now it remains to be seen how Kaminski will provide a goalkeeping filip to Luton in the event of him making his move to Kenilworth Road.
