Tony Mowbray’s side are active in the ongoing transfer window and they are looking to add to their squad in a bid to see another promotion push next season.

The Black Cats have already wrapped up deals for two centre-backs this summer and now they are eyeing bolstering their full-back options.

The Championship outfit are keen on PSG full-back Dagba and according to French outlet Foot Mercato, Mowbray’s side are in talks with the Ligue 1 giants for the defender.

Dagba, 24, spent last season on loan at Strasbourg and made 21 league appearances.

He is not PSG’s plans moving forward and the Ligue 1 title holders are eager to let the French defender go on a permanent basis.

Dagba’s addition to the Sunderland squad could boost the defensive performances of the Black Cats.

Now it remains to be seen whether Mowbray’s side will be able to strike a deal with PSG for their target soon, with the clock ticking down on the transfer window.
