The 19-year-old centre forward joined Leeds from Spanish side Espanyol in January 2022 and he has turned some heads with his performances for the Whites development side.

Last season, Joseph scored 15 times in 19 appearances in the Premier League 2 Division Two and represented England in the Under-20 World Cup in May.

Former Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani, who is now the new Sampdoria owner, is an admirer of Joseph and he showed interest early in the transfer window in taking the player to the Serie B outfit.

Now the highly-rated Leeds United forward is drawing interest from several clubs, including Championship outfit Swansea City.

And according to Italian daily Il Secolo XIX (via Calciomercato.com), Sampdoria have retained their interest in Joseph and are monitoring the youngster.

Leeds are short of forward options this summer and due to Patrick Bamford and Georginio Rutter’s injuries in pre-season, they might not be willing to part ways with Joseph.

The Yorkshire outfit have yet to receive any offers for the youngster and he has two more years left on his contract with Leeds.
