After being rejected by both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, Liverpool are on the verge of signing VfB Stuttgart defensive midfielder Wataru Endo.

But Jurgen Klopp wants to bring in one more midfielder before the window slams shut on 1st September.

Gravenberch is a player the Merseyside giants are interested in signing and they are prepared to make an offer for him.

According to Munich-based daily Tageszeitung (via Fussball Transfers), Liverpool are ready to offer a fee of €30m to Bayern Munich for the Dutch midfielder.

The German champions have been reluctant to lose the midfielder all summer despite his lack of impact last season.

However, following a recent transfer meeting, the Bavarians have opened up to the prospect of selling the player.

Liverpool are interested but Gravenberch is also on the radar of another Premier League giant in Manchester United.

And the midfielder would prefer a move to Old Trafford than Anfield if both clubs make an offer.
