Davis is not part of Unai Emery’s plans and the Villans have been keen to move him on in the ongoing transfer window.

Hull made a direct approach to Aston Villa earlier this week and have been in talks to sign the attacker in the ongoing transfer window.

The two clubs have now managed to reach an agreement over a fee that could see Davis move to the Tigers ahead of the end of the transfer period.

But it has been claimed that Hull are yet to thrash out personal terms with the Villa attacker regarding the move.

Hull have agreed to pay a fee of £2m with add-ons to Villa for the potential signature of Davis.

However, the player is still weighing up a move and is yet to give his approval to the transfer to Hull.

He has rejected offers to move abroad and clubs in the Championship and Luton Town are also interested in the forward.
