The Hammers are keen on an attacking midfielder and they have set Ajax’s Kudus as one of their priority targets.

Ajax rejected West Ham’s first two bids for the midfielder as they failed to meet their expectations.

West Ham have submitted a new bid worth €44m including add-ons and 10 per cent of any future sale of Kudus.

It has been suggested that the Hammers are closing in on agreeing a deal with Ajax for the midfielder.

Steidten is in Bulgaria finalising the deal for Kudus and wants the midfielder to fly with him to London once they have agreed on a deal.

Kudus is keen to make the move to the London Stadium this summer and West Ham are working to land him.

And if all goes well, he will become the third midfield signing for the Hammers this summer.
