Sangare, 25, joined PSV from Toulouse in 2020 and has already established himself as a midfield mainstay at the Dutch side.

He is of precise interest to Steve Cooper’s team in the ongoing transfer window, with the Tricky Trees still keen on making room for a defensive midfielder.

Nottingham Forest have been on his tail for much of the window, but have been reluctant to trigger his release clause; now they are looking to sign him for less than it.

And Sangare is still uncertain about his future in the dying hours of the transfer window.

According to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, it is 50-50 whether the Ivorian will stay put at the Eredivisie side beyond the transfer deadline.

Forest are continuing to push for him and could end up being successful.

Sangare has still four years remaining on his contract with PSV and the Dutch side could sell him if the right offer is tabled for the Ivory Coast international.

Now it remains to be seen how Sangare’s future will be shaped next, with the clock ticking on the transfer window.
