The Barcelona academy product has agreed to explore a move away from the Blaugrana side this season for regular football.

And Fati has no shortage of suitors in the market, with Tottenham Hotspur having made a big push for him.

Tottenham opened negotiations with Barcelona for a deal for Fati, but were rapidly overtaken by Brighton and it seemed the attacker was heading for the south coast.

However, Spanish giants Sevilla have joined the race for the 20-year-old winger and they are keen on convincing the Barcelona star to stay in La Liga.

And according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, Fati has yet to make a final decision on his future destination and he is expected to make one in the next few hours.

With less than 48 hours remaining in the transfer window, Sevilla are pushing to snatch Fati from Brighton’s grasp.

He was in a meeting until after three in the morning with his entourage last night, debating the pros and cons of each move.

It is suggested Brighton have an advantage, but the final call is still not made.

Now it remains to be seen whether Sevilla will be able to successfully hijack Fati’s move to Brighton.
