Roy Hodgson confirmed Palace’s interest in signing the centre-back during his pre-match conference and the deal is moving along as expected.
The Eagles have been in talks with Arsenal over agreeing a deal to take the centre-back to Selhurst Park on deadline day.
Holding is one of the players Arsenal have been keen to move on the final day of the ongoing transfer window.
It has been claimed that the centre-back will undergo a medical shortly ahead of sealing a move to the south London club.
A deal is in place between the two clubs for Holding and the move is now dependent on getting through the medical.
Personal terms are also in place between the defender’s representatives and Palace ahead of the transfer move.
Holding will sign a three-year contract once all the formalities of the deal are in place by the end of the night.
