Forest have launched an ambitious bid to sign the PSV midfielder and are looking to get a deal over the line by the end of today.

The Midlands club have been in talks with PSV and have also been trying to convince the player to accept a move to the City Ground.

They have made considerable progress on both fronts and are now ready to secure the midfielder’s signature.

Forest have a provisional deal in place to take Sangare to the City Ground before the window closes tonight.

However, the move is now dependent on Johnson completing a move to Tottenham in the coming hours.

A £30m deal to take Sangare to Forest is ready to happen as long as Spurs complete Johnson’s signing.

The midfielder has been offered a considerable pay rise to his current wage and he is now believed to be keen on the move.
