Sangare was the centre of attention on transfer deadline day this summer and Nottingham Forest managed to successfully sign the player from PSV.

The midfielder played a key role in PSV reaching the Champions League group stage this summer and after a long tug of war regarding Sangare’s signature, Nottingham Forest managed to land their target.

Babadi stated that Sangare was like an elder brother to him in the squad and added that he will follow the Nottingham Forest midfielder’s advice so that he could grow as a player.

The PSV star revealed that Sangare was very emotional during his farewell speech to his former team-mates.

“He stood with tears in his eyes at the farewell speech”, Babadi told Dutch daily the Eindhovens Dagblad.

“That was very impressive and emotional.

“Ibrahim was also like a big brother to me, perhaps my favorite.

“Now I have to use his words and lessons to grow myself.”

Sangare will ply his trade under Steve Cooper this season and all eyes will be on the midfield on 18th September to see whether he will make his Nottingham Forest debut against Burnley.
