The 25-year-old centre-back is a product of Manchester United’s academy and signed for Ipswich Town this summer on a free transfer, signing a one-year deal.

Tuanzebe has been reunited with McKenna, whom he worked with during his time at Manchester United.

The defender stated that McKenna has a keen eye for details and added that the Ipswich Town manager always strives for perfection.

Tuanzebe pointed out that McKenna has a non-negotiable attitude towards hard work, consistency and repetition and believes that the Ipswich boss is the type of manager he needs.

“I think everyone who knows the manager understands his attention to details and how he wants everything done almost to perfection”, Tuanzebe told Ipswich Town tv.

“So repetition, consistency and working hard are non negotiable for him.

“I think he is someone who, especially for my situation, is perfect for what I want to do for the remainder of my career.”

Tuanzebe has yet to make his debut for the Blues this season and that opportunity might arrive against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.
