Moore took charge of Sheffield Wednesday in March 2021 but failed to keep them up in the Championship.

Last season, the Owls finished the League One season with 96 points and earned promotion to the Championship by defeating Barnsley 1-0 in the playoff final.

However, following promotion, Moore parted ways with Sheffield Wednesday after a disagreement with the owner.

Chansiri stated that the English tactician wanted his salary to be quadrupled, but Moore said that the reason behind his departure was not due to financial reasons.

Now it has been claimed that Moore was willing to renegotiate the terms of the new contract, but Chansiri did not show any interest.

Sheffield Wednesday appointed Xisco Munoz as the successor to Moore at Hillsborough and the Spaniard has yet to win a league game this season.

Moore has decided to take the Huddersfield Town job and he is set to visit Hillsborough when the Terriers take on Sheffield Wednesday on 7th October.
