The Cherries brought in the Spaniard this summer to take charge but he has not managed to guide the side to a single win in their nine Premier League matches so far.

Iraola saw his side beaten on home turf by Wolves at the weekend, with the visitors bossed by the man he replaced at Dean Court.

It has been speculated in some quarters that Iraola could be sacked before next weekend’s meeting with Burnley.

The clash is already viewed as a key one between two sides that are struggling in the Premier League and expected to be in the relegation tussle.

It is a game that Iraola will be in charge for though.

The Spaniard continues to be backed by the Bournemouth hierarchy and they have no intention of making a change before the Burnley match.

Bournemouth have only scored six goals in their nine Premier League games so far, but Burnley have only scored one goal more than the Cherries.
