Tresor joined Vincent Kompany’s side on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy from Genk in the summer transfer window.

The Belgian star is well regarded for his versatile attributes and he can play both in attacking midfield and wing positions.

Tresor has so far made five Premier League appearances for the Clarets, chiefly as a substitute, this term but has yet to find the net.

He is now a permanent Burnley player, according to Belgian daily HLN, as playing in five official games has resulted in an option being triggered.

Burnley are now expected to pay Genk a fee of €18m for Tresor.

The Clarets will be hoping he can live up to the transfer fee in the Premier League this season.

Burnley have made a poor start to their league campaign and are looking set for a season of battling against the drop.
