The Hillsborough outfit parted ways with Xisco Munoz last month after the club’s disastrous start to the Championship campaign this term.

They appointed Rohl to salvage their season and under the German manager, the Owls managed to secure their first league victory against Rotherham United on Sunday.

Now Byers stressed that Rohl has brought a positive ambience to the side’s dressing room and it has been amplified after the win against Rotherham.

The Scottish midfielder also insisted that every Sheffield Wednesday player supports Rohl’s philosophy and they are feeling zestful and sharp under the boss.

There has been a positive vibe in the changing room after the win on Sunday and we are focused on Saturday and building on that”, Byers said at a press conference.

The new manager has built positivity around the place, he has been really positive for myself and the group.

Every player has bought into what he is trying to do, training is intense and it is working.

We feel sharp and in a good place physically to go and implement what he wants us to do.

Sheffield Wednesday are set to take on Bristol City in the Championship at the weekend and are hoping to get a positive result from the match.
