Norwich are 17th in the Championship table with 17 points from 15 games and they find themselves in a difficult situation with only four points from their last nine games.

 

Next, the Canaries will travel to Wales to take on seventh-placed Cardiff, who are only three points off the playoff spot, at the weekend.

 

 

 

Roberts pointed out that Bulut recruited smartly with a transfer embargo placed on them in the summer.

 

The ex-Canaries star issued a warning to the Norwich players that Cardiff are a team with a lot of pace and pointed out that the Wales outfit prefers to play counter-attacking football.

 

 

“His recruitment has been spot on and they have not spent a penny because they had a transfer embargo, which meant he had to go out and get free transfers and players in on loan”, Roberts wrote in his Eastern Daily Press column

 

“They were the Championship’s second lowest scorers last season behind Wigan and seven of the 10 he brought in are all attack-minded players.

 

 

“Obviously he brought Ramsey in, but he’s been out for a while now with a knee injury.

 

“They are a team with pace.

 

“He likes them to play the counter attack, but they like to keep possession as well.

 

“They’re rapid.”

 

The last time both teams met at the Cardiff City Stadium last season, Norwich suffered a 1-0 defeat due to a 49th minute strike by Bluebirds star Romaine Sawyers.
