After three straight defeats, Sunderland have turned their form around and picked up four points from the last two games.

On Saturday, Tony Mowbray’s side will lock horns with Birmingham City, who have recently gone through a managerial change and picked up their first point under new manager Wayne Rooney last weekend.

However, Cirkin stated that Sunderland are not bothered by the Midlands outfit’s managerial changes and stressed that they are focused on their performances.

The Black Cats star added that they will study Birmingham City before the game and that they are determined to show their quality in front of the Stadium of Light faithful at the weekend.

“We do not really look too much into that; we just look at the game and what we can do”, Cirkin told Sunderland’s media.

“Obviously, we study the opponent a little, but you know, at the end of the day, that is what we can do.

“And we know that when we are at the Stadium of Light, we have so much quality and we have to turn up and give it our best shot.”

Cirkin has not started a game since September and all eyes will be on him to see whether Mowbray will hand him an opportunity in the starting eleven.
