The Bluebirds are flying high this season, as they are seventh in the league table, just one point off the last playoff spot.

Bulut strengthened his squad mainly with loan signings this summer and brought in experienced players like Aaron Ramsey, Dimitrios Goutas, Yakou Meite and Manolis Siopis on permanent transfers.

Parkin pointed out that Cardiff City have excellent Championship forwards in their squad and believes that the Bluebirds midfield have steel in them.

He also stressed that Bulut has a really good starting eleven but pointed out that he has doubts regarding Cardiff’s depth.

“I like their forward players; [starting] eleven really good actually”, Parkin said on the What the EFL podcast.

“When you look at their eleven, they have steel in the midfield.

“I think it is a really good eleven, but I am a bit concerned about the depth.

“I think we have always been quite enthused and excited about the front players, really good Championship front players.

“Probably ones that are excellent at this level; they probably would not be quite good if they were to make the transition at some point to the Premier League, but they have some talent there.”

Cardiff are set to welcome West Bromwich Albion at home tonight and a win against the Baggies could take them inside the playoff zone.
