The 19-year-old Ghanaian winger joined Leicester City in the Championship from Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon on a season-long loan deal.

The teenager has impressed the Foxes with his performances and he has become an important player for Enzo Maresca.

Fatawu has featured in 16 league games for the Foxes so far and he made five direct goal contributions in the process.

Leicester City are currently sitting top of the Championship league table with 49 points after 20 games and Piper feels that the unpredictable nature in Fatawu’s game makes the player valuable.

“Yes, and we spoke about in particular, Fatawu, because he does have that naturally in his game”, Piper said on the When You’re Smiling podcast about the teenager’s unpredictability trait in games.

“He is very unpredictable.

“And it looks like, sometimes, he doesn’t actually know what he is going to do next until he does it and he gives us that.”

Now it remains to be seen if Fatawu’s traits will give Leicester City the edge to find their way back to the Premier League next season.
