Firpo has had injury issues this season and Leeds have been tipped to look for another left-back next month.

The defender decided against leaving Leeds the summer following their relegation, but there have continued to be question marks, not least with the transfer window looming.

But according to Spanish sports daily Estadio Deportivo, Firpo is not thinking of leaving England in January.

The defender is not pushing to leave Leeds and as such, Betis are not considering him an option for their left-back need.

The Spanish La Liga side are in the market for a left-back, but look likely to look elsewhere.

It remains to be seen if Firpo changes his stance, especially if Leeds sign a new left-back in January.

Firpo will be keen to make sure he is playing regularly as Leeds look to push back to the Premier League this season.
