Queens Park Rangers have shortlisted Aston Villa midfielder Tim Iroegbunam as a target for the upcoming window, according to the Sunday Mirror

The 20-year-old midfielder is a product of West Bromwich Albion academy and he signed for Aston Villa in the summer of 2021.

Last season, Iroegbunam joined Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan and was a regular starter for the Loftus Road outfit.

QPR were interested in signing Iroegbunam back in the summer, but a deal failed to materialise.

However, it has been claimed that QPR have retained their interest in the Aston Villa midfielder and Iroegbunam is on the R’s shortlist for the upcoming window.

The midfielder has made a total of four senior outings for the Villans but has yet to make an appearance for Unai Emery’s side this season.

It is suggested that Aston Villa are open to letting Iroegbunam leave Villa Park this summer and they are interested in a permanent move.

The midfielder has a contract with Aston Villa until the end of June 2022 and now it remains to be seen what lies ahead for Iroegbunam.
