Ligue 1 side Lens have set their sights on Leicester City target Pierre Dwomoh and are carefully monitoring his progress at Royal Antwerp, it has been claimed in Belgium.

The Antwerp-contracted player is currently on loan at fellow Belgian side RWD Molenbeek and has featured heavily for Claudio Cacapa’s men in spite of being just 19.

His performances have caught the attention of scouts from around Europe, who have flocked into Belgium to watch Dwomoh in action.

Championship giants Leicester are one of the sides that are keen on the midfielder and they are one of those to have sent their scouts to Brussels to watch Dwomoh in action.

However, their task has now been made complicated by the entry of Lens onto the scene.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the French club are carefully monitoring the player as they prepare to make a move for him.

It now remains to be seen whether Leicester consider it to be worth stealing a march on their competitors and make a move for Dwomoh in January.

Leicester are cruising in the Championship and look a solid bet to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
