Three Premier League clubs are considering a January swoop for Celtic star Kyogo Furahashi, according to the Evening Standard.

The 28-year-old Japanese forward joined Celtic in the summer of 2021 from Vissel Kobe and has been a big success in Scottish football.

Last season, Kyogo scored 34 goals in all competitions to help Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic win a domestic treble.

However, in the ongoing campaign, Kyogo has not been able to repeat last season’s success in front of goal.

The Japanese forward is though drawing interest from south of the border and it has been claimed that three Premier League clubs are considering a move for Kyogo in the January window.

Kyogo signed a new contract with Celtic in the summer, which extended his stay at Parkhead until the end of June 2027.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is also keen on strengthening his forward department in the upcoming window and the Bhoys have been linked with Hearts star Lawrence Shankland.

Now it remains to be seen what decision Celtic will take if they receive any offers from Kyogo’s Premier League suitors in the upcoming window.
