MK Dons are hoping that Aston Villa will agree to loan out goalkeeper Filip Marschall in the winter transfer window, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The shot-stopper has been providing cover on the bench at Aston Villa and was even handed 90 minutes in the Europa Conference League by Unai Emery.

Marschall is drawing interest though and could have an option to leave Villa Park on a temporary basis.

He is wanted at League Two side MK Dons, where the club’s boss Mike Williamson is very aware of his talents.

Williamson had Marschall at Gateshead on a loan spell and wants to reunite with him.

The MK Dons boss is hoping that Aston Villa will agree to loan Marschall out at some point in the winter window.

The chance to play regularly at League Two level may be something which appeals to the 20-year-old shot-stopper.

Marschall has yet to play in the Premier League and at domestic level has only turned out in the National League and EFL Trophy in senior football.
