Rangers face competition from Torino for Hellas Verona full-back Josh Doig, with the Serie A side keen on signing a left-footer.

The Hibernian academy graduate left Scotland to move to Italy in July 2022 and has so far featured in 34 matches for the Italian club.

He has now been linked with a move back to Scotland with Glasgow giants Rangers showing keen interest in signing him.

However, Rangers are not the only side looking at signing Doig with Torino pushing to get a deal done.

According to Sky Italia, Torino are locked in talks with Hellas Verona to find an agreement to sign Doig.

Hellas Verona are asking for a fee of around €6m for the services of Doig.

It remains to be seen if Torino holding talks for Doig sparks Rangers to take action.

The Gers currently have Borna Barisic and Ridvan Yilmaz as their left-back options, but there are question marks over both players over the long term.
