Napoli have put in a written offer for Radu Dragusin as they look to beat Tottenham Hotspur to the Genoa defender.

Dragusin is currently the centre of a transfer scrap between Tottenham and Napoli, despite the player being claimed to prefer a move to Spurs.

Napoli rate the Romanian highly though and, in need of a centre-back, are in no mood to give up without a fight.

They have now gone in to Genoa with a written offer for Dragusin, according to Spanish outlet Relevo.

Napoli have offered a fee of between €20m and €22m, along with defender Leo Ostigard, while full-back Alessandro Zanoli would join on loan.

The southern Italian side will hope the proposal is enough to convince Genoa.

Genoa have not yet reached an agreement with Tottenham and Spurs are expected to in with a new proposal soon.

The Premier League side already have an agreement in place with Dragusin to move to north London.
