Southampton target Matias Soule is likely to spend the rest of the season at Frosinone, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira.

The 20-year-old Argentinian winger joined Frosinone on loan from Juventus in the summer and has impressed.

He has scored seven goals in 16 Serie A appearances this season and his performances have piqued the interest of clubs in England.

Southampton are reportedly prepared to table a big bid to take him to the St. Mary’s in the ongoing winter transfer window.

But it has been claimed that Soule is set to stay put at his current loan club Frosinone.

Juventus are looking to raise funds in January and the winger was seen as a player who they could cash in on this month.

However, it has been suggested that a decision has been made to keep him at Frosinone until the end of the season.

A big offer could still change their minds but for the moment, it seems Soule is not going anywhere.
