Stoke City and Bristol City are interested in snapping up Luke Cundle this month and Wolves are considering selling him, according to the Express & Star.

Gary O’Neil wants to make additions to his Wolves squad in this month’s window, but the club are also aware of the need to balance the books.

Cundle, an attacking midfielder, is currently in the midst of a loan spell at Plymouth Argyle and has been proving his worth at Championship level.

His displays have not gone unnoticed and he has interest, with Bristol City and Stoke leading the way in the chase to land him.

And Wolves are considering letting Cundle leave on a permanent basis.

It is claimed that Wolves would be looking for £2m to cash in on the attacking midfielder.

Selling Cundle would not only boost Wolves’ finances, it would also help with financial fair play considerations as due to being a homegrown player, his exit would be regarded as pure profit.

Cundle has so far made 24 appearances in the Championship this term, scoring three goals and providing five assists.

It remains to be seen where Cundle ends up, but the 21-year-old’s time at Molineux could be nearing its end.
