Radu Dragusin has decided to accept a move to Tottenham Hotspur despite serious interest from German champions Bayern Munich and will fly to London today.

Bayern Munich were threatening to hijack Spurs’ pursuit of the centre-back after they tabled a bid worth €32m on Tuesday.

The German champions were convinced that the defender wanted the move to Bayern Munich and were expecting to edge Tottenham out to his signature.

However, the north London club did not bow out of the race and it has been claimed that they have won the race to sign him.

According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, Tottenham have won the race to sign the 21-year-old Romanian defender.

Dragusin has made his decision and has agreed to move to the Premier League with Ange Postecoglou’s side.

The defender is expected to fly out to London today to complete the formalities of the transfer to Tottenham.

Bayern Munich are now expected to turn their attention towards other targets with Spurs’ Eric Dier said to be on their radar.
