Liverpool have a permanent right-back on their agenda for the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice right-back in recent seasons.

The English international has featured 25 times in all competitions for Liverpool this season and has registered nine assists, racking up six yellow cards.

Klopp has been impressed by Alexander-Arnold’s attacking abilities and wants to use him in midfield.

And it has been claimed that in the summer Liverpool will delve into the transfer market to find a permanent right-back to shift Alexander-Arnold to midfield.

Conor Bradley and Calvin Ramsay are both understudies of the 25-year-old in the right-back position.

Ramsay went out on loan to Preston North End in the summer but was recalled due to insufficient game time.

Now it remains to be seen whether either Ramsay and Bradley will be able to stake a claim for the right-back position in the summer before the Reds bring in a fresh face.
