Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden is being offered around as the club look to find him a new home this month, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Hayden spent the first half of the season on loan in Belgium at Standard Liege.

The midfielder made ten appearances in the Jupiler Pro League for Standard Liege and picked up three bookings in the process.

Hayden is not expected to stay at St James’ Park this month and Eddie Howe has admitted the midfielder is likely to go out on a fresh loan.

Howe does not know where Hayden will go though and it appears Newcastle and the player’s agents are putting in legwork to find him a home.

Hayden is being offered around to a number of clubs, but no move appears to be in place yet.

The 28-year-old will be looking to make sure wherever he goes he has a realistic prospect of playing week in, week out.

Hayden still has a contract at Newcastle which is due to run until the summer of 2026.
