Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon is set to decide where he wants to go during this month’s transfer window amid interest from Brentford, according to London World.

Reguilon spent the first half of the season on loan at Manchester United, but struggled to make an impact under Erik ten Hag.

Now back in north London, the left-back is expected to be shipped out on yet another temporary stint as he is not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans.

Brentford are keen to sign Reguilon and they are close to agreeing a loan deal with Tottenham.

However, the Spaniard has yet to decide whether he wants to join Brentford and he has interest from European sides.

Reguilon will now consider what he wants to do for the second half of the season.

The defender will be keen to make sure that whichever side he joins he has a realistic prospect of regular first team football.

He made just nine Premier League appearances for Manchester United this season, being booked on three occasions in the process.
